The Chevrolet Trailblazer has a turbocharged 1.3-liter engine producing 150 horsepower. The Russian-assembled Korean Seltos is more powerful – 177 horsepower from a 1.6-liter engine. However, the American model has a 9-speed automatic transmission, while the Seltos offers a 7-speed DCT. Robots aren't popular here, but automatic transmissions aren't a concern. And the American model costs almost 400,000 rubles more, all because they pay duties, and Korean manufacturers are localized. As always, we offered a series of tests. The Kia Seltos and Chevrolet Trailblazer performed well off-road, and they also performed well in the city. Overall, the Chevrolet Trailblazer won.
