Toccata from Organ Symphony No.5 by C.M. Widor, played by Ketil Strand; electric guitar

This is another one of my crazy ideas.. Ever since the church organist played this piece at our wedding ceremony back in 1986 (yes, me and my wife are still happily married:-)), I've been very fascinated by it, and since I already had played another famous organ piece on guitar, incidentally also named "Toccata" (and Fugue in D minor, by J.S. Bach), I figured; why not try to play this one, too? But it took me almost 27 years to actually conduct that idea.. This track will also be featured on my soon upcoming second solo album, aptly named "II". I used the original sheet music for organ (which I'm desperately reading as I'm playing here..), which has three parts; left hand, right hand and pedal/bass. So in my guitar version I'm playing the right hand part (the "melody") with a regular clean guitar sound, and the left hand and pedal/bass parts on my Fender Roland-Ready Strat/Roland GR-55 guitar synth, with an organ sound. So it sounds kind of like a duet between an organ and an electric guitar. The guitar used for the melody is a Gibson Les Paul Studio '60s tribute Goldtop with P-90 pickups, I'm using both pickups: neck PU on max and bridge PU on 7/10. Axe-Fx II preset: 095 EJ Clean, with extra reverb added. The Fender Roland Ready Strat is going straight into the Roland GR-55s "Pipe Organ" preset, but I pitched it up an octave on the chords, and down an octave on sections of the bass part. Recorded direct to Cubase. The Matrix Q12A active FRFR monitors in the background are not actually heard in this video, I use them as my live rig, but normally not for recording. Please feel free to also check out my other videos, my website and my solo album(s) (see links below).
