NO SNOW IN THE ALPS! | Did global warming ruin our snowboarding holiday?

Is global warming destroying ski and snowboarding holidays, or is it just a random warm winter? When we planned our snowboarding holiday to Austria we looked for the week with the most guaranteed snow, then we booked it! The problem is, we were wrong! We arrived to Alpbach to realise there was no snow at all on the ground, and only a little on the mountains. So we kept our fingers crossed and hoped it would come. Of course Alpbach has very good snow-making capabilities so even though there wasn't much natural snow, the slopes were still open and we had a lot of fun!
