Today we are going on a journey along the E95 (M01) north of Kyiv, the route on which Russian troops invaded Ukraine. The battle for Brovary and the Brovary district of the Kyiv region began on 24 February 2022, when Russia attacked Ukraine. These events ended with the defeat of the Russian troops and their retreat, and the defence of Brovary became part of the Great Battle for Kyiv. The M01 motorway near the village of Skibin was the scene of the fiercest fighting, with a column of Russian armoured vehicles destroyed. The Russian losses were catastrophic, forcing them to retreat and flee. This confrontation became the largest tank and artillery battle since the Second World War.❤️ Travel with us!
