How to make Ambunu for detangling: -The directions say 500ml of water (about 2 cups) to 5 tablespoons of Ambunu. (my Ambunu is from Sahel Cosmetics) -Bring the water to a boil -Add 5 tablespoons of Ambunu -Let sit for 10 – 20 minutes -Strain (some do not strain. this is a personal choice) How to Use for Detangling: Section your hair -Apply the Ambunu from root to tip -Massage into scalp -Make sure hair is coated Using your fingers or a comb detangle your hair -Let sit for 10 minutes -Rinse -Style as usual Things to note: -Ambunu is a MILD Cleanser. If you are heavy handle with products or you use a lot of products in between your wash days Ambunu will not remove all of the buildup. You will have to use it in conjunction with another shampoo. -Ambunu can be applied to scalp. For those following my Chebe journey, yall know Chebe cannot be applied to the scalp. Ambunu leaves contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which can help to protect the hair and scalp from damage. -Ambunu is messy.
