Accommodations comes under superstructure which also contains various spaces like Cargo control room, Ship office , Officer and crew recreation and mess rooms, Galley (Kitchen) ,provision store , Gym, Laundry etc. Every crew member on board a ship gets their own private cabin. Size of the cabin varies depending on the position/rank of each crew member. Top 4 officers of the ship (Captain ,chief engineer ,chief officer and 2nd engineer) gets the most spacious rooms on a cargo ship. These rooms are divided into Day room and Bed room with an attached toilet system. All other officers and ratings gets a Bed room with an attached Toilet (No Day Room).
