To mark the 30th anniversary of the AMIA bombing, LA NACION presents a documentary about the story of a group of teenagers—between 15 and 20 years old—who were part of a heroic rescue team. On July 18, 1994, students in Buenos Aires were on winter break: some in the city, others traveling, or at a country house or campsite. Those in the city heard the explosion; the others found out later—perhaps days later, because back then there were no cell phones, much less WhatsApp. For all of them, the 1994 vacation would be etched in their memories as the moment when the largest terrorist attack suffered by our country occurred: the bombing of the AMIA building.
