He has been with us since the start of his 2-year-old year, and he checks all our boxes. Great minded, confirmation, personality, ability, gentleness, and super flashy. He is very trainable, takes everything in with kindness and is easy going. His confirmation is really nice with a cute head, short neck that ties in with a square front end. He has great bone, feet and low hocks that tie into a nice round strong hip for those big stops. Hooey's personality is hilarious. He is always in your pockets looking for attention, wanting to be scratched on and will meet you at the gate every time ready for an adventure. He is a beautiful mover, cute loper, has nice turn arounds, big stops, nice extended trot and smooth in all gates. And let's not miss out on how flashy he is with that golden palomino coat, four white socks, white mane and tail, and a white face with those big dark blue eyes. Hooey is the same every time you step on and picks up right where you left off. Whether you ride him every day or once a month he stays gentle. Alies has used Hooey for riding lessons to teach all levels of riders, and he is very forgiving and patient with the green riders. Chase and Tripp have used him to doctor yearling cattle, tag newborn calves, pair out, load cattle and drag calves at the brandings. We have used him in the arena for heeling, steer stopping, and break away. Hayslee loves riding him out on the trails where they go through the canyons, up and down steep hills, through the brush and through the water. Hooey rides great whether you're riding alone or in a group of other riders. He is great to bath, clip, saddle and bridle. He stands great for the farrier and hauls well with other horses.
