Lowering the bells in the belfry of St Peter In Thanet, Kent in peal 13cwt in F

Once again I do apologise about the camera quality of the video, the GoPro really doesn’t like the dark… hope you enjoy anyway and listen to the glorious sound of the tenor chiming! The bells of St Peter In Thanet are a mixed bag of bells based in the small village of St Peter, Broadstairs. The octave were cast by Mears & Stainbank with some of the older bells cast individually by Thomas Swain and Robert Catlin of Mears. All the bells go really well and sounded incredible since retune. The only difficulty is the incredibly long draft and springy ropes but overall a fun and nice sounding ring of 8!
