First Impressions: China Southern Airlines | Melbourne - Guangzhou... Economy Class In this 1st episode of our epic trek halfway across the globe from Australia to Scotland and Scandinavia, we start with the first long haul flight to China. This has to be one of the most anticipated flights to date. I have never ever flown a Mainland Chinese airline before until now. Thus, all the pre-conceived notion of what they inevitably come to fore. They don’t really have a great reputation and they get a bad rep for sub standard service, poor English and crappy entertainment. These series of videos (after all I flew 4 sectors with CZ) will turn these opinions upside down. I went in with zero expectations because I am guilty of having a less than stellar opinion of what they represent. Spoiler alert… They aren’t all too shabby!
