Agro Sustentável - 15/06/26 #BoraEntender

Agriculture is responsible for 25% of all wealth produced in the country. And the countryside has been experiencing an evolution in production methods. Conventional farming is becoming increasingly sustainable, incorporating practices from agroecology and organic production. Brazil is already the world's largest food exporter, but then the questions begin: is further expanding planting areas environmentally viable? Or could we produce more with technology while maintaining the same planted area? Do we need to reduce the use of pesticides and adapt to new requirements? Guests: Liane Rucinski - Legislative Consultant for Agriculture and Rural Policy at the Chamber of Deputies. Master's degree in engineering from Unicamp and specialization in agribusiness from Esalq/USP. Érico Feltrin - Legislative Consultant for Agriculture and Rural Policy at the Chamber, agricultural engineer, with specialization in International Relations from UnB and Public Policies and Government Management from ENAP.
