In this video, we compare the fouling levels of two gas systems: direct impingement and gas piston. We fired 10 magazines from the NL 545 DI and 10 magazines from the NL 545 GP. We examine how both systems perform under intense shooting and what happens to the rifles after this regimen. After the shooting, we disassemble the rifles, examine the fouling levels, and explain the advantages of our gas block and why it makes shooting more consistent and cleaner.
