Here are the garden shears I recommend:https://amzn.to/2MADUFK Pruning your parsley plants to either trim it down for being out of control or to promote further growth is so easy. You need to use garden shears to ensure you don't rip the plant out. You want to start by trim from the bottom of the parsley plant and move towards the inner section of the plant as you are clipping off the branches. Ideally, you don't want to cut more than 2/3 of the plant off. You also want to remove any flower stalks should the parsley plant be in the flowering stage. This will help to promote further growth as doing these signals to the plant that it needs to grow further leaves.
