This video shows the arrival and departure of trains at Amagasaki Station on the Hanshin Main Line and Namba Line during the weekday evening rush hour (approximately 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM). It includes Hanshin Main Line express, limited express, express, and local (all-stations) trains, as well as Namba Line rapid express and local trains. On a day when a professional baseball (official game) was being held at Koshien Stadium, three extra express trains bound for Koshien passed by. A Kintetsu train with Tobu Railway 8000 series-style wrapping was also seen. It was incorporated into a "Butsu 8" formation (four 2-car sets coupled together), positioned as the 5th and 6th cars from the front. Besides various Hanshin Electric Railway trains, Sanyo Electric Railway trains are used for express trains (direct service to Sanyo Electric Railway Main Line and Kobe Rapid Transit Line), and Kintetsu Electric Railway trains are used for Namba Line trains (direct service to Kintetsu Nara Line), so you can see trains from all three companies: Hanshin, Sanyo, and Kintetsu. Amagasaki Station has four platforms and six tracks for both the main line and the Namba Line. Trains bound for Amagasaki (terminating at this station) on the Namba Line use the sidings. Platform doors were installed on tracks 1 and 2 (for trains heading towards Osaka Umeda). On track 2, both sides of the platform face the platform, and platform doors are installed on both sides.
