Radio Verdad is an evangelical Christian radio station with its broadcast studios in the Salvadoran capital, San Salvador. Radio Verdad is one of five Salvadoran evangelical Christian radio stations broadcasting over the air on the FM band. These stations belong to the evangelical Christian denomination known as the Assemblies of God, a denomination with numerous Christian missions and their respective main and branch churches, present in all 262 municipalities of the country. The five over-the-air radio stations belonging to the Assemblies of God of El Salvador are: this station; Radio Shabach 93.3 FM from Santa Ana, the capital of the department of the same name, with coverage for the southern municipalities of the department of Santa Ana; Radio Poder 96.5 FM from Sonzacate, in the central part of the department of Sonsonate, has departmental coverage except for the northeastern municipalities of San Julián and Armenia, which have their own stations on the same frequency (these last two stations are in the western part of the country); Radio Jerusalén 105.3 FM from Perquín, in the far north of the department of Morazán, bordering Honduras, has departmental coverage; and Radio Canaán 94.9 FM from Chapeltique, in the central-eastern part of the department of San Miguel, has coverage for the northern municipalities of the department of San Miguel (these last two are in the eastern part of the country). Radio Verdad broadcasts on 95.7 FM from San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, covering the central and western regions of the country. Its main transmitter is located in El Boquerón National Park, on the outskirts of the San Salvador Metropolitan Area, serving the central region. Three repeater antennas are located at various points throughout the western region. Regarding programming: Radio Verdad offers a diverse lineup consisting of sermons broadcast from various Assemblies of God churches within the San Salvador Metropolitan Area; Bible studies; reflection programs; prayer sessions; Christian editorials; Christian interviews and discussions; Christian radio dramas; a family counseling program; and a program about the history of the evangelical Christian church worldwide. Regarding music: Radio Verdad features a highly varied music program with a consistent selection of genres. The musical genres consist of young adult genres such as worship and exaltation, jubilation and spiritual warfare, praise ballads, pop, and some tropical genres; they also program adult-oriented praise music in genres such as string ensembles, oldies, rancheras, norteñas, corridos, duranguense, grupera, and Pentecostal choirs. This radio station also has a weekend program featuring children's praise music called "To the Little Ones with Love." This radio station features many musical breaks throughout the day, but only two of them are dedicated to requests, and these segments are titled "Greetings and Requests." During the other breaks, only listener feedback is allowed, and the songs are chosen by the on-air announcer. Regarding signal quality: Radio Verdad's signal here in the Central Zone of the country is simply perfect, meaning crystal-clear audio, without even the tiniest gaps in the signal, and without interference from other radio stations. Radio Verdad's signal from San Salvador is so powerful that even in the Western Zone, it can reach with very few gaps. If you listen to this station from a vehicle while driving through the West, you can hear the radio without interruptions, and the gaps sound like mere whispers. However, this is only the case if their repeaters weren't active in that region. Although in the urban area of Santa Ana, the capital of the department of the same name, its signal receives very strong interference from Radio Scan.
