The boat departs Akashiura Fishing Port and arrives at a spot called "Kanose." This shallow, hilly area, covered with sand and seaweed, is one of Akashi's best fishing spots, known as the "natural fish pen of the Seto Inland Sea." They use a one-hook tenya lure. One-hook tenya is a fishing tackle that combines a weight and a hook, and has become increasingly popular in the Kansai region in recent years. Live shrimp are used as bait. Live shrimp, rather than frozen, retains its shape well and can handle sharp jerks, allowing anglers to fish however they like. One-hook tenya offers the fun and depth of fishing, from the direct bite to the tug after hooking.
