Madi Mure traditional dance

This Mure, one of the traditional dances of Madi tribe. It is mostlyl dance by elders and during funeral. Beside Mure, other Madi dances include, Kejua, mostly danced by ladies, Gai, danced by youth, Lekembe and Adungu. Madi are found in both Sudan and Uganda. Some of the clans of the Madi in Sudan are also found in Uganda but each group has distinct clan (family lineage). Madi in Sudan are found in area such Loa, Pageri, Moli, Opari, Owinkibul, Mugali, Arapi, Nimule, Ayii (Kit area) etc.
