Although its performance was universally acclaimed, its over-the-top exterior was what divided the public: it wasn't beautiful, but it was shocking and anticipated the volumes and lines of sports bikes by ten years. The new Katana isn't a "nostalgia operation" or a vintage model; on the contrary, it's a profound reinterpretation of the past, in a very modern motorcycle.
