This story draws on real theological history, including the Akashic Records, the celestial hierarchy described by Pseudo-Dionysius, and the ancient tradition of recording angels like Pravuil and Metatron, the celestial scribes of Jewish and Islamic mysticism who documented every soul that ever lived. The bureaucracy in this story is not invented. It is just taken seriously.
