Prayer of Divine Mercy Introductory Prayer: Jesus, you died. But your death opened up a fountain of souls and an ocean of mercy. O fountain of life! O mercy of God, whose depth is unfathomable! Embrace the whole world and pour out all your mercy upon us. O blood that flowed from the Sacred Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us! O water! I trust in you. O blood that flowed from the Sacred Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us! O water! I trust in you. O blood that flowed from the Sacred Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us! O water! I trust in you. The prayer taught by Jesus: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name! Your kingdom come! Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven! / Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation. Deliver us from evil. Amen. The Lord’s Prayer: Hail, Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. / Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. The Creed: I believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in his only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit. I believe in the Holy Catholic Church. I believe in the communion of saints. I believe in the forgiveness of sins. I believe in the resurrection of the body. I believe in eternal life. -Amen. At the great bell: Eternal Father! We offer you the body, blood, soul, and divinity of your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, in atonement for our sins and for those of the whole world.
