This Catan Setup Forced Me Into One Strategy

Come hang in my Discord server!   / discord   In this ranked Catan match I start with a strong dev card setup, but the table immediately makes my life difficult. I take heavy heat early and every expansion path I want gets cut off until I am left with only one way to stay in the game. At that point the entire match becomes a lesson in how to play Catan when your plan collapses and you have to build a new win condition out of nothing. I lean into dev cards, fight for army, and try to create the smallest possible margin to give myself a real chance. If you want to study high level Catan strategy, comeback decision making, and how to play when your expansion is completely shut down, this is a match worth watching closely.
