My 7" Reel to Reel music collection - Part 1
I have around 250 7" reel to reel tapes which I'll be showing in a few different videos. My player is an Akai 280D-SS four channel deck which I love. When I was stationed in San Vito, Italy in 1976 I bought a Quad system, the Akai, a Dual 1229Q turntable, a Marantz quad amp and 4 Bose 501 speakers. That system has long been replaced with other equipment after they were stolen during a break in many years ago. A few years ago I found another Akai 280 D-SS on ebay, perfect condition with original box so I bought it.
