Untangling crossed lines safely after relaunch | KITE FOIL - kitemare

During a downwinder I crashed the kite while riding unhooked so the bar lines got crossed affecting steering. The safest way to untangle is to get on land avoiding rocks or waves and search for an open space so you can self land safely and untangling both back lines on the ground after securing the kite. Any attempts of untangling while on water is extremely dangerous and should be avoided even on light wind or waist deep water. It can result in even more tangling and letting to a complete eject risking other people downwind or even a death loop causing severe injury. Make sure you practice extensively how to self land and self launch before any downwinder ride and do some research if there is any risky place for escaping the water in case you need it.
