Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites adding the sugar bit by bit. Add the egg yolks very carefully. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add it in 3 steps (one bit at a time so that the batter remains quite fluffy). Last but not least add the melted butter and put the dough into a round cake tin. Bake for about 25 minutes. Let the cake cool, add the strawberries on top and the red jelly.
