TRUMPF laser welding: CalibrationLine - Precise power setting at the workpiece

During welding, traces of powder or splashes can cause contamination on the protective glass and lead to gradual loss of power. Thanks to CalibrationLine, laser power is regularly measured. If performance fluctuations occur, the control suggests a correction -- thus saving the user from having to make regular measurements and input new parameters. If the loss of power can no longer be compensated for sensibly, the user is notified to exchange the protective glass. CalibrationLine recalibrates the control and the welding process is continued. Direct communication between the measuring unit and the control software saves the user valuable worktime.
