Cheers - Old Friends. Dave Graney, Clare Moore and Tony Wyzenbeek in conversation. PART ONE.

Dave Graney and Clare Moore talking with old friends, people who have sustained and inspired them over a long period. Tony Wyzenbeek is a photographer and film maker and sometime musician. A man about town. An artist who isn't arty - in that classic 70s Australian style. Making it look easy. Laconic, deadpan. All those kinds of elusive qualities. This was the second attempt at filming a conversation. Dave Graney forgot to press "record" the first time. They explain this at the beginning - in the interests of transparency. Then its a freewheeling talk beginning with Dave Graney and Clare Moore talking of their first arrival into Melbourne. Tony talking about growing up in outer eastern Melbourne, Sharpies, fights etc. Then studying at an art school in Melbourne and living in 80s Prahran. Dave Graney and Clare Moore also lived in Prahran in 1982 and then St Kilda. Talk turns to Dave Last and the Legendary Boy Kings.
