OpenCore Legacy Patcher 0.5.0 / 0.5.1 Update is live! This new update brings macOS Ventura Support for 2012-2016 unsupported Macs! In this video I will show you how to install the OCLP 0.5.1 update + check for OCLP Boot loader & Post Volume patch Versions. CHAPTERS BELOW! UPDATE 11/24/22: OCLP 0.5.2 Released ( Update fixes the below issue) #1. If you have a Mac with an AMD GPU, note that Apple recently broke the Kernel Debug Kit downloader. The following models are affected: Mid 2014 27" 5k iMac Mid 2015 27" 5k iMac Late 2013 Mac Pro Mid 2015 15" MacBook Pro with Radeon Graphics Late 2016 15" MacBook Pro Error after update or install = A problem occurred trying to download the kernel debug kit: Could not contact apple download servers. Download the KDK & install it then run the post volume patches. Download KDK here = github.com/khronokernel/KDK-Mirror/releases/tag/22A5365d Issue info = github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/issues/1016 #2. Ventura 13.0.1 update was released. #3. The old trick of reverting the root patches with Ventura to get a smaller delta upgrade is no longer supported. The changes in Ventura require the 11GB full update. A ton of work went into getting the patcher to work! Some things might not work exactly right but it's really really close. I would not recommend installing on a system that you rely on for work or school. ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR FILES FIRST BEFORE YOU UPGRADE! The good news is that you are getting the latest security fixes from Apple. Some might argue that upgrading to Patched Monterey makes your Mac safer since Apple is no longer fixing security issues on 10.13 and below.
