#stelena #thevampirediaries #dobsley I wanted to take the DE quote "Stefan is Elena's harbour but Damon is the ocean. A ship may be safe in a harbour, but they were created to sail the ocean forever" and make a Stelena vid to it because what DE fans don't understand is that that quote is just saying a Nina Dobrev/Stelena quote in another way, which is: "Damon may feed Elena's excitement but Stefan feeds her soul," meaning that Stefan is Elena's home, her guide, she feels safest with him and so she's the most vulnerable and intimate and emotionally raw with him but Damon is pure spark and no depth. So this vid is basically Elena saying she's sailed the ocean (i.e. she's been with Damon) and she's had enough, it's not what she wants, she's ready to come back to shore (i.e. Stefan) and she's asking Stefan if he'll love her despite being out in the ocean for so long.
