Puck Support for Defensemen Part 3 -- Scissor Concept
In this edition of the iPlayHockey.ca Development Program, instructor Mike Pilon takes you through the last piece of the Puck Support series. The drill teaches players how to bring the defenceman without the puck back into the play by supporting the defenceman with the puck. The defenceman performs what is called the Scissor Drill where players are crossing, creating that exchange of the puck and the change direction of the play. Key Point are: communication, deception and timing. For more information and tips to improve your, or your team's game, visit iPlayHockey's channels, filled with tips and training information!
