2nd Out-of-the-Order Meeting: Juan Luis Arsuaga Presented by: Rubén Amón Juan Luis Arsuaga holds a PhD in Biological Sciences and is a Professor of Paleontology at the Complutense University of Madrid. He is one of the world's leading paleontologists and one of Spain's most important science communicators. Co-director of the Atapuerca research team, he has been awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for Scientific and Technical Research, among many other accolades. In 1992, he discovered the most complete skull in the fossil record of human evolution at the Sima de los Huesos (Pit of Bones).
