Orcs Must Die! 3 [Rift Lord - 5 Skulls] Map 30 {Tipping the Scales DLC} - Sand Sea Castle [Plan 3]

► Playlist:    • [PC] Orcs Must Die! 3 [Rift Lord - Solo - ...   Grinders vs Tuatara. Will it blend? (spoiler: it will). Sand Sea Castle is a pretty annoying map filled to the brim with Tuatara Rangers, so it's always a joy to get Untouchable (No Damage) here. This was a somewhat minimalist run with a handful of traps and no Barricades. It worked. You just have to more or less pay attention to where the lizards walk to when they're attacking in fewer numbers. When crowded enemies always split into "three" lanes worth of floor trap size so to speak, but in lower numbers they follow a strict pattern. Noticing this you can place Grinders in certain spots that will do a lot of damage even without Barricades to force enemies close to them. You also have to pay attention to Earth Lords since those stupid things take a long time to kill and the Earthlings have a bad tendency to slip by your defenses. I got uncomfortable close to losing Par Time here, but mostly because I was too damn lazy to go killing stragglers and wanted to let the traps do most of the job. Unrelated: I really like Egan's Japanese voice acting. He sounds more like a nervous greenhorn (like he should be) than the English version, that's for sure. The announcer also sounds like a pissed watcher instead of a nervous old man.
