You can knit your Holiday presents in a matter of minutes! ----------------------INSTRUCTIONS Fingerless gloves Number 8 knitting needles Number 4 yarn. (Worsted). Cast on 40 stitches, or the amount you need depending on how long you want them to be. In this case, the gloves measure 8 1/2 inches long. Knit 48 rows, if the person has thin hands. Knit more rows for wider hands. The gloves should fit snuggly around the hands. Sew from the top of the square about 2 inches. Make a tight knot and weave in end. Sew about 5 inches from the bottom. Make a tight knot and weave in. The part without sewing is where the thumb goes through.
