Halfway through their Teenage Cancer Trust show at the Royal Albert Hall, Garbage surprised everyone with a beautiful take on The Cure’s “Lovesong.” Before starting, Shirley shared that she might not make it through without getting emotional—and you could really feel that during the performance. She also opened up about losing her dad, mentioning how he’d usually be there for nights like this. It made the whole moment even more powerful.
