From last Thursday to Saturday, Bishop Stefan Oster participated in the sixth and final assembly of the Synodal Path in Germany. From the very beginning, he has critically observed the fundamental direction and the process by which the decisions were reached. Even after the concluding assembly, he maintains his assessment: In his view, the problematic consequences of the Synodal Path for the Church in Germany and worldwide clearly outweigh the positive aspects. For this reason, Bishop Oster has published his personal reflections in a detailed article.
