1yo Bernese Mountain Dog (Winston) Best Dog Trainers in WV!

🎓🐾 Graduation Day! 🐾🎓 This handsome 1-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog came to us needing help with all of those classic teenage dog behaviors. While he had a heart of gold and loved everyone he met, his enthusiasm was a little too big for his size! He enrolled in our program for: 🐾 Play biting 🐾 Major jumping on people 🐾 Leash pulling 🐾 Dragging his owner over to greet every person and dog he saw 🐾 Overexcitement and a lack of basic manners Like many young dogs, he wasn’t trying to be “bad”—he just had never been shown what was expected of him. Through structure, consistency, and clear communication, he learned that calm behavior gets him much further than launching himself at everyone for attention. Now, he’s walking politely on leash, keeping all four paws on the floor when meeting new people, making better choices around distractions, and showing off the manners every giant teddy bear of a Bernese Mountain Dog needs. Most importantly, his family now has the tools and knowledge to continue building on his success at home. We’re so proud of all the hard work this big guy put in over the course of his program. He proved that even the most enthusiastic greeters can learn self-control without losing the goofy, lovable personality that makes everyone fall in love with them.
