Ride 443 - Day 4 of our epic ride through the Pyrenees. It got biblical

I joined a group of riders heading north from Girona to the Pyrenees. We planned to cross into France and then turn east towards the Mediterranean and then work our way along the Spanish (the Costa Brava) all the way back to Girona. I normally do not ride on consecutive days, and this challenge was spread across six consecutive days. I was really quite unsure whether I'd actually be able to complete it. Of course, that wasn't the story I told everyone else. In this video, after leaving Camprodon, we have climbed north up the border between Spain and France. We descended down into France to the town of Prats de Mollo la Preste and stopped for lunch. It was pretty hot there, but we managed to get a table under cover. After a nice lunch and a beer or two, we started the portion of this day's ride, a descent east along the river through the canyon to Can Partere. We spent the rest of the afternoon lounging around the swimming pool enjoying the odd beverage. What an enjoyable day. Too bad we are expecting the weather to drastically change for tomorrow's stage. Oh well, that's then, and this is now. Cheers.
