She was the daughter of Frank and Sandra Rzucek and also had a brother named Frankie William Rzucek. She was a hard worker, despite having worked in several places, she was always involved in sales. Shanann had serious health problems such as Diabetes and Lupus. For a few weeks in 2010, she was receiving messages on Facebook from a guy named Chris Lee Watts; they were regular messages from someone interested in meeting her. Shanann took a long time to respond and sometimes even ignored them because she was not in the mood to get involved with someone. Christopher Lee Watts, who we will call Chris from now on, was born on May 16, 1985, in North Carolina. He is the son of Ronald and Cindy Watts and has a sister named Jamie Watts. Chris ended up sending Shanann a friend request, which she accepted. For some reason Shanann tried to give him a chance. They ended up exchanging phone numbers, but she decided to be completely honest with him about what she was going through. They got married on November 3, 2012, without Chris's parents present. Shortly after the wedding, Shanann and Chris moved to Frederick, Colorado to start a new life. Chris, who only had a technical degree in mechanics, had the chance to work at Anadarko, a large oil company in the United States. Shanann continued in sales and got a position at a dealership. The couple's first daughter, Bella Marie Watts, was born on December 17, 2013.
