Meditation on the subtle mind - Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Excerpt from a teaching giving by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche at the NKT International Summer Festival 2007 The video features Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche teaching on how to achieve a state of peace and calmness by ceasing the distracted and gross mind. He advises that one should stop paying attention to any object and remain like a stone or piece of wood. The purpose of this practice is to experience the cessation of gross minds, which can cause problems, and to perceive one's subtle mind by contemplating its nature, function, and location. The practice involves seeking the subtle mind, finding it, holding it without forgetting, and then gradually remaining in concentration for longer periods of time. This practice is beneficial for achieving enlightenment and benefiting all living beings without exception. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Stay Connected with the New Kadampa Tradition: Website: https://kadampa.org Facebook:   / kadampa   Instagram:   / newkadampat.  .
