Buying our first planter for the new farm sounded simple… until we started shopping. New planters cost more than I wanted to spend, so I bought the cheapest 12-row planter I could find—a John Deere 7200 for just $7,200. Now the question is… did I find a bargain, or did I just buy someone else’s problems?
