Tutorial XRF data calculations
This is a tutorial for the course 'Field measurements and validation' for our MSc students on the Applied Remote Sensing course at ITC, the Faculty of Geo-information Science & Earth Observation at the University Twente, The Netherlands. It is about the processing of elemental chemical data for minerals and rocks. It is mainly about conversions between mole fractions (e.g., mineral formula), oxide weight percentages and elemental weight percentages. This is recorded at home with a slightly wonky green screen setup.
