St. Michael's Medical Clinic Patient Story: Treating Hep-C for FREE

At St. Michael’s Medical Clinic, we believe healthcare can change lives. In this video, Teresa shares the story of a patient who came to the clinic after overcoming addiction and beginning the journey toward rebuilding his health and future. After being tested for Hepatitis C, he learned he was positive. Through the support of our community partner, Interfaith Ministries, he was able to receive treatment at no cost. Six months later, he returned and was completely free of Hepatitis C. Along the way, he also received additional care for blood pressure concerns and underwent testing using our fibrosis scan machine to help address other health issues, all free of charge. Stories like this remind us that compassionate, accessible healthcare creates real change in our community.
