The MG3 Hybrid+ is the new sedan from the Anglo-Chinese brand, which has chosen to focus on a compact model to meet the demand for affordable yet comfortable and high-performance cars. The MG3's full hybrid system consists of three engines: a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 102 horsepower, which, combined with a powerful 136 horsepower electric motor, generates a combined output of 195 horsepower, enough to accelerate the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. These two engines are supported by a motor-generator that allows the system to operate in both series and parallel. The result is good driving dynamics, without the scooter effect (as long as you don't suddenly bottom out) and enough to keep fuel consumption below 20 km per liter when driving primarily in urban and extra-urban environments. Prices start at €19,990 (subject to changes due to tariff changes on Chinese cars, recently approved by the EU) for the Standard trim, the base model, which is already lavish.
