Kärnten Tour Tag 4

Today's fourth stage was, for me personally, the most beautiful part of our eight-day tour. From Campolongo, we initially descended for 2 km before a 20 km climb up to the highest point of the tour. The Kreuzberg Pass at 1,619 m altitude also marked the border with South Tyrol. I was particularly impressed by the panorama of the Dolomites surrounding the Three Peaks Nature Park. After that, it was a continuous descent. We stopped for ice cream in Moos, and in Innichen, we headed east again towards the Austrian border. We followed the Drava River once more, just as we had on the first day. After 83 km, we reached the town of Lienz, where we met Gerhard's friend Günther, who, along with his wife, showed us around.
