Simple Breakfast Alone on a Mountain Just me, a mountain, and a fire. I hiked up alone to a quiet spot high on the mountain — surrounded by forest below and open sky above. Collected some firewood, lit a fire, and cooked the simplest breakfast: fried eggs in a pan over an open flame. Then poured a hot cup of tea and just sat there in the silence. Fresh mountain air, no noise, no people. Just the sound of the fire and the wind.
