As an Aquarius Midheaven, having Uranus AND Saturn (which rules Aquarius) ruling your 10th house of aspirations and public image, makes this interesting. At some point in your life you might have reached a breakthrough, and this is when you realize that it is no longer serving you or serving anyone in the world… to do as is expected of you….just to gain appreciation from your parents, in order to feel special. You take back your power, and go out into the world to be your independent self. You set independence as the root, the foundation, with which you can grow your impact in the world, whether that be saving the environment, helping the poor, or inventing something new or whatever it is. But it has to be different and be uniquely YOU. Think of someone like Tim Burton or Jackie Chan, no one can live their lives. No one can do what they do, it’s pure genius. And you as an Aquarius Midheaven is supposed to live a life that only YOU can live. But with Saturn co-ruling the Midheaven, you still feel a sense of responsibility to other people, especially family, so you try to make sure that they are not abandoned entirely, maybe just a little, but not entirely. And you try to control your public image just a little. You want to appear to be a little crazy and unique, but YOU want to control the direction in which that craziness will go. As much as you want to be independent, you don’t want to let it be completely loose (like a Pisces midheaven would….ya know), you still want to appear to be intelligent but crazy, beautiful but messy.
