Upgrades, repairs, and restorations of Sonus Faber speakers and components. In this video, we analyze the history and evolution of Sonus Faber speakers, comparing vintage models from the Franco Serblin era with the most recent production. We show you our laboratory work to repair, restore, and optimize both complete cabinets and individual drivers. Here are the main differences we address:  Vintage Production: The cabinets are excellent and of the highest quality. The original crossovers, however, are not only dated but also suffer from design limitations that prevent them from fully exploiting the speakers' potential. With our upgrade, we resolve these issues and restore the woofers and tweeters (which are subject to critical wear) to proper operation.  Recent Production: This line features excellent modern speakers, but the standard crossovers—while starting from a good foundation—require an overhaul and better components to unlock the speaker's true value.
