Airwave YGK Lumpfish Live Studio Performance

Hello and welcome to another edition of CFRC 101.9 FM’s Airwave YGK Musician Residency Programming brought to you through the generous support of the City of Kingston and Kingston Arts Council. In this episode, we’re treating you to brand new Lumpfish music created in our studios during this local band's residency in our studios on June 1st and 2nd 2026 and heard for the first time on June 2nd. Thank you for joining us! Lumpfish is an emerging youth pop-punk/grunge band from Kingston Ontario consisting of recent graduates from St. Lawrence College who play loud and make people dance while creating fun respectful spaces at their live shows. Their music is always replete with catchy melodies to create an engaging performance including bills they’ve played at St. Lawrence College, Broom Factory and Slush Puppie Place in addition to several singles CFRC listeners have heard on air through our Release Radar series.
