Report by Serambi Indonesia Journalist Yusmandin Idris | Bireuen SERAMBINEWS.COM, BIREUEN – A total of 55 Bireuen Police personnel participated in the traditional flower sprinkling ceremony (korp raport) at the Bireuen Police Headquarters yard on Tuesday (June 30, 2026). The ceremony was conducted by Bireuen Police Chief AKBP Tuschad Cipta Herdani, Head of Bhayangkari, Mrs. Mella Tuschad, and several senior officials and police chiefs. The personnel promoted by one rank included one person receiving a service promotion: Commissioner Hartana, Head of the Planning Division, who was promoted to AKBP. Additionally, 18 personnel were promoted from Aipda to Aiptu, 28 personnel from Bripka to Aipda, five personnel from Brigadier to Bripka, and three personnel from Bripda to Briptu. The ceremony began with a report from personnel representatives and a speech from the Chief of Police. After the congratulations, buckets of flower water were brought to the field. The personnel lined up and were showered one by one using dippers by the Chief of Police, the Chief of Bhayangkari, and other officials. Several wives of the promoted personnel also participated in the showering, adding to the joyous atmosphere among all participants. In his speech, the Chief of Police stated that promotions are not automatic but are a form of state recognition for dedication, integrity, and performance during service.
