Munakata Reisi/Blue King tribute - Natural (K-project AMV)

“One who can only see things from his point of view, no matter how sharp he is, will always be a fool, Munakata!” Finally Vegas Pro again! Goodbye, Movie Maker! And once again, a K-project video. It was awfully hard, to find the ideal tribute song for Reisi, but then I heard Natural which is one of my favourite Imagine Dragons songs, and I knew I will have that tribute. Reisi was one of my immediate favourites from the series, but at the same time, he is the character I know I just shouldn’t like. If Mikoto was all about emotions, love and anger, vengeance and hope, Reisi is the exact opposite – he is the cruel, calculating mind. He is a good leader, clever and mostly leads from the front, but if it is the most logical choice, he doesn’t hesitate to lie, manipulate, or sacrifice his own men just to get one more shot. And since the Blue Clan’s motto is that “their cause is pure” he never feels guilty – he believes that the end always justifies the means. However, in the end, this is the core of his tragedy – Mikoto falls because he gets swallowed by his emotions, and burns out, while Reisi, even if he is saved from death, has to realise that no matter how hard he tries, not everything can be calculated. The video has three parts – the first one focuses on Reisi’s awakening, how he immediately enjoys the role of king, and the start of his conflict… friendship… whatever with Mikoto. The second part focuses on the events of the first season, both as the continuation of that relationship, and the way SCEPTER 4 gets swallowed into the events with the Colorless King. And with slowing down and then coming back to the rhythm, the third part’s main focus is the aftermath, how Reisi gets closer and closer to the final fall, how he prepares for it in the same cruelly smart and manipulative way he did everything... and the simple fact that no matter how cold he is, his men, who are all connected to what colour blue represents, understand his way of thinking, and in the end, there is always someone who willingly takes the bullet for him. Of course, I do not own anything, both K-project and Natural belong to their rightful owners, I just like to edit with them.
