Sarah Brückner, singer of Mrs. Greenbird, has had problems with her leg her entire life. She was born with a malformation. Her leg is shortened, and she doesn't have a proper kneecap. Medical errors worsened the situation. After a serious fall and a complete loss of mobility, Sarah Brückner was left with only one option to regain her freedom: amputation. It wasn't an easy decision for her. She was very afraid of phantom pain and other complications. Nevertheless, she took the plunge.
